SPAR Women’s Challenge
Striding into its 36th year, a sold-out field of 12,500 participants will line up for the much-loved and iconic SPAR Women’s 5/10km Challenge in Durban, set to begin at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium on Sunday, 28 June. This year, Durban’s most beautiful race offers participants the choice between a gentle 5km ‘fun run’ challenge and the more serious 10km race, which offers an attractive cash prize for top runners. Race Registration is on Friday, 26 and Saturday, 27 June on the outer fields at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium. Look out early for next year’s dates to avoid disappointment!

Amashova Durban Classic
2026 marks the remarkable 40th anniversary of the iconic Durban road cycling race, which takes place on Sunday, 19 July 2026. To mark this major milestone for South Africa’s oldest classic cycling race, a few adjustments are being made to this year’s race, which celebrates local legends who have ridden and enjoyed full road closure along the popular Comrades Marathon route from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. Online entries are open now via the official Amashova website and close on 24 June 2026 at 17:00, with late entries available on the race day weekend.
